Computers & Technology has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve been deeply drawn to the world of computers since a young age. After high school, I knew that a career in tech was the path I wanted to pursue. My interest in programming and software development grew significantly during my time at university and during my first summer internship in HF Markets, after i completed my 3rd year of studies. I graduated in June 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Cyprus, and I’m currently advancing my knowledge as a postgraduate student in Computer Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I'm also working as a full-time QA Automation Engineer. My focus is to sharpen my skills in critical thinking and problem-solving to address the complex challenges of today’s digital world.
As software development becomes faster and more complex, keeping up with testing demands is a constant challenge. This presentation highlights how artificial intelligence is transforming the way teams approach test case automation. Instead of relying solely on manual review and prioritization, AI can analyze large volumes of test cases, assess their suitability for automation, and help teams focus their efforts where it matters most. By reducing repetitive work and providing data-driven insights, AI-driven automation empowers teams to maintain high quality, improve test coverage, and keep pace with rapid development cycles.
To support this shift, several smart AI-driven strategies are being explored—such as automatically scoring test cases for automation potential, integrating intelligent suggestions into existing workflows, and using conversational tools to interact with test data in real time. These approaches aim to boost productivity, streamline collaboration, and allow QA teams to focus on high-impact areas while letting AI handle the heavy lifting.
