Leading the Digital Signage industry for SMBs, Yodeck has been continuously growing and evolving for the past 10+ years. Going from a single-team start-up to a multi-team scale-up has been an exciting journey.
In this presentation, I will share with you how we scaled our engineering teams, and how we organized product & engineering operations, in order to maintain the delivery efficiency of a start-up at larger scale, while remaining committed to the quality standards of our product.
We’ll also look at lessons learned during this journey, around agile team processes and bottlenecks we have tackled so far. Moreover, I will go through the evolution of our release cycle, how we currently achieve alignment across multiple teams, and how we measure efficiency (we will discuss about team metrics and how we use them to our benefit).

Driven in building empowered teams, Vasilis started his career as QA engineer in a small startup company, and moved to a full time role as Agile coach for the past 7+ years.
He is mainly focused in optimizing Software Engineering Operations, and has a passion for discovering and implementing Lean & Agile ways of working for teams in and out of professional environments.
He is a founding member and organizer of the Agile Greece Retreat community (link), and co-author of "Feedback your way: the ultimate guide for effective feedback" (link).
When not working, Vasilis enjoys riding his bike, listening to music, and playing the piano.
